TRACKING is a dog sport in which the dog demonstrates its ability to recognize and follow the scent of an individual human being. Tracking is an energetic outdoor sport that nurtures and strengthens the bond between you and your dog while developing the tracking skill in your dog.
Sally trains for, instructs, and judges the American Kennel Club competition form of search and rescue. The titles available in AKC tracking are Tracking Dog (TD), Tracking Dog Excellent (TDX) and Variable Surface Test (VST). Further information about AKC tracking is available at the AKC web site.
